What’s new 🚨
Per-exercise metric preferences
Every exercise can now have its own specifications and settings configuration. Choose which metrics appear in your bar charts, which stats overlay on your video, whether bar path is shown, and whether you log RPE. All these and more can be customized as app-wide defaults or on a per-exercise override.
Advanced metrics
Thirteen metrics are now available in the Metric Android including peak velocity, mean velocity, power metrics, tempo, time to peak velocity, and more for full parity with the iOS app rep metrics. Full list of available metrics here →
Double bar chart comparisons
Select a second metric to display side by side in your set review bar chart. Compare velocity against power, tempo against ROM, or any combination that fits your training. Set app defaults or exercise specific configurations for primary and the optional secondary metric.
Supported devices list
We’ve published a supported devices list so you can check whether your device meets the requirements to run Metric’s computer vision system. Android devices have a wide range of chip configurations, and not all have the GPU performance needed for accurate, real-time barbell tracking. Check if your device is on the list here →
