How accurate is Metric VBT?
Metric has been tested against the gold standard in movement velocity tracking 3D motion capture systems, traditional stringed (Linear positional transducer)velocity based training devices, alternative camera-based apps, and accelerometers both internally and externally.
The Metric tracking system matches performance of these commercially available hardware devices and outperforms other applications when used in normal training conditions.
Metric v0.5.4 has been externally validated by Taber et al and was found to be a reliable and useful training tool.
