Faster workouts, adaptive camera sensor
A new plate-detection preview and low-light warning help you fix your setup before recording, with an adaptive camera mode for cleaner frames and faster, smoother workouts.
What’s new 🚨
Plate detection preview Metric now shows you the best plate detection before you start recording. A two-tier warning system gives you feedback both before and after your set covering viewing angle, framing, plate visibility, and ambient lighting.
Low-light warning An on-screen indicator now alerts you when ambient lighting is too low for accurate tracking, so you can reposition before you start recording.
Adaptive camera mode A new single adaptive camera mode replaces the old Mode 2/3 system, prioritizing fast shutter speed for cleaner frames and more accurate barbell detection while also adapting to lighting. Includes improved anti-strobing filtering for gyms with fluorescent or LED lighting.
Improvements ✨
- Active workout performance. A major performance pass on the active workout screen makes navigating between sets, reviewing data, and recording feel significantly smoother.
- Faster data loading. Record management has been rewritten to eliminate redundant data reads, speeding up load times across the app — particularly for coaches with large rosters.
- More reliable video imports. Imported videos now handle a wider range of resolutions and edge cases
