Editing athlete profiles

Update display name, profile pictures, training profile fields, and roster metadata for athletes on your roster.

UPDATED

Coaches can fill in athlete details when first inviting them, or edit later from the roster. Profile fields affect how the athlete appears in the roster, leaderboard, and exports.

Where to edit

In-app or on the coaches dashboard:

Roster → tap an athlete → Edit profile.

Athletes who have downloaded Metric and logged in can also update their own profile fields from Account → Profile.

Fields you can edit

  • Display name — first and last name as shown in the roster, leaderboard, and exports.
  • Profile picture — appears on the roster and leaderboard.
  • Date of birth — used for any age-grouped reporting.
  • Sex — used for the leaderboard gender filter and relative ranking calculations.
  • Bodyweight — used for relative metrics (watts per kg, multiples of bodyweight).

Bodyweight updates

Bodyweight changes over time matter for relative metrics. Athletes can update their own bodyweight from their profile, or the coach can update it from the roster after weigh-ins. The leaderboard and relative-power calculations are calculated each workout from the bodyweight on the athletes profile at the time the set was recorded.

What edits sync to the athlete

Profile changes you make sync to the athlete’s account and are visible to them in Account → Profile. Athletes can edit their own profile fields too — the most recent edit wins.
