Multi-athlete workouts

Record sets and run workouts for several athletes from one coach device in a single session.

A Multi-athlete Workout work just like a single-athlete workout from one device, except multiple athletes can share the device and toggle between their own active workout to complete their training in parallel.

This saves you swapping devices in and out of tripods around the gym, reducing the number of devices needed for each session.

Starting a Multi-athlete Workout

From the home screen with Coach Mode enabled:

  1. Tap Start a Team Workout.
  2. Add the first athlete.
  3. Select a template or add exercises to start the workout.
  4. This athlete can now start training as normal.

Adding more athletes mid-session

When the next athlete is ready to start on the same device:

  1. Tap the athlete profile picture in the top corner.
  2. Tap Add Another Athlete.
  3. Pick the athlete and select a template or add exercises to start the workout.

The device now holds multiple active workouts. Athletes toggle between themselves by tapping the profile icon and selecting their name. Each athlete’s sets and metrics save to their own training history.

Finishing a workout

When an athlete finishes and saves their workout, they’re removed from the Multi-athlete flow and their workout saves to history. The other athletes’ workouts stay active on the device until they finish too.

One active workout per athlete

Athletes should only have one active workout at a time across all devices to prevent data clashes. If an athlete is already in an active workout on their own phone, starting them on a coach device may cause conflicts.
