Jump access: day passes, Pro and Ultra
How access works in Metric Jump: the free day pass, day passes, Jump Pro, and Metric Ultra across all three apps.
You can get access to Metric Jump in two ways. You can buy access inside the app, which covers Metric Jump on its own. You can also subscribe to Metric Ultra on the web, which covers all three Metric apps at once.
Use your free day pass
Every new account gets one free 24-hour pass. Activate it from the card on your home screen when you are ready to test. The pass then gives you unlimited recording for the next 24 hours.
You get one pass per account, not one pass per device. If you sign in somewhere else, you do not get another pass. Save the pass for a day when you test.
Day passes
Jump testing is often occasional. If you test only a few times a season, a day pass suits you. It gives you 24 hours of unlimited recording, with no recurring subscription attached.
Jump Pro
Jump Pro is an annual subscription for unlimited testing in Metric Jump. You buy it in the app. It covers Metric Jump and nothing else, so it does not unlock Metric Lift or Metric Sprint.
Metric Ultra
If you use more than one Metric app, Ultra costs less than stacking separate subscriptions. One plan unlocks Pro across Metric Lift, Metric Jump and Metric Sprint.
Ultra comes in two forms:
- Ultra Solo — covers a single athlete across all three apps.
- Ultra Coach — adds a roster, priced by how many athletes you carry.
Metric sells Ultra on the web at app.metric.coach, not through the App Store. For the full breakdown of what each plan includes, see Subscriptions.
Coach Mode
Roster management, team leaderboards and multi-athlete testing come with Ultra Coach. Athletes you invite get Pro on their own devices across all three apps. They keep it for as long as they stay on your roster, at no extra cost to them.
A free coach tier also connects up to two athletes. That is enough to try Coach Mode properly before you subscribe.

How billing works
Apple bills day passes and Jump Pro through the App Store. Ultra has separate billing on the web, and you manage it from your account settings there. The two are separate, so cancelling one does not touch the other.
Tip: To move from Jump Pro to Ultra, subscribe to Ultra first. Then cancel your App Store subscription. The two bill independently, so cancelling on the store side does not affect your Ultra plan.
For switching, cancelling and refunds, see Subscriptions. For current pricing, see the pricing page.
