Sprint access: day passes, Pro and Ultra
How access works in Metric Sprint: the free day pass, day passes, Sprint Pro, and Metric Ultra across all three apps.
Metric Sprint has two ways in. You can buy access inside the app, which covers Metric Sprint on its own. You can also subscribe to Metric Ultra on the web, which covers all three Metric apps at once.
Use your free day pass
Every new account gets one free 24-hour pass. Activate the pass from the card on your home screen when you are ready to test. You then get unlimited recording for the next 24 hours.
You get one pass per account, not one pass per device. If you sign in somewhere else, Metric does not give you a second pass. Save the pass for a day when you test.
Buy a day pass
Speed testing tends to be occasional. If you only test a few times a season, a day pass gives you 24 hours of unlimited recording. Nothing recurring is attached to it.
Sprint Pro
Sprint Pro is an annual subscription for unlimited testing in Metric Sprint. You buy it in the app. It covers Metric Sprint and nothing else, so it does not unlock Metric Lift or Metric Jump.
Metric Ultra
If you use more than one Metric app, Ultra works out cheaper than stacking separate subscriptions. One plan unlocks Pro across Metric Lift, Metric Jump and Metric Sprint.
Ultra comes in two forms:
- Ultra Solo — covers a single athlete across all three apps.
- Ultra Coach — adds a roster, priced by how many athletes you carry.

Coach Mode
Ultra Coach includes roster management, team leaderboards and multi-athlete testing. Athletes you invite get Pro on their own devices across all three apps, at no extra cost to them. That access lasts for as long as they stay on your roster.
Metric also has a free coach tier that connects up to two athletes. That tier is enough to try Coach Mode before you subscribe.

Billing
Apple bills day passes and Sprint Pro through the App Store. Metric bills Ultra separately on the web. You manage the Ultra subscription from your account settings there. The two are separate, so cancelling one does not touch the other.
Tip: To move from Sprint Pro to Ultra, subscribe to Ultra first. Then cancel your App Store subscription. The two bill independently, so cancelling on the store side does not affect your Ultra plan.
